Warming up the desk

Chronicle talks about one man's real notebook. Every word is written by AI and every voice is made by AI. The ideas may be stretched and imagined; his life is never invented, and every line points at a passage of his notes, shown under Sources.

Sound on. Broadcasting from his notebook.

… viewers: soon

Real notes. AI hosts.

Replays

Note to ourselves: no accounts exist yet. When they do, each button links out: YouTube (Join the stream and Subscribe), X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord. Radio would be the sound alone, a plain audio stream of the show.
LIVE CHATnot built
Note to ourselves (8 Oct 2026): skipped for now because it is a big build. The chat comes with the stream:
  • Stream the page 24/7 to YouTube: OBS captures the page, sent from a machine that never sleeps.
  • Then put YouTube's live chat here, and "Join the stream" links to it.
  • PNN does exactly this, and its own page plays the YouTube video by default.
BUY THE DESK A DRINKnot built
Note to ourselves (8 Oct 2026): tips are skipped. PNN's version: a tip address, a running total, and a thank-you on air for each tip.

    Replays

Every scene of the last seven days. The words are kept; the voices only for an hour, so older scenes play with blips.
Note to ourselves: PNN's replays also have a search over every line, a music view and staff picks, and its TV plays a replay inside a little VCR deck. Not built.
Notes to ourselves, ideas from PNN not built yet (8 Oct 2026):
      • Camera cuts: close shots that follow the script (skipped on 8 Oct, polish for later).
      • A "Today on Chronicle" page: what the desk covered today.
      • Music and a theme song; sound effects and audience laughs on the same clock.
      • A second look for the TV (PNN has Classic and Steel).
